Do you ever feel like you're caught in a rut? Like every post is becoming the same content, pose, and message? I think we all feel this sometimes. Whether you are a foodie, a sole fashion girl, or like me, a little mix of everything in between, there are ways to bring back life into your feed. Keep reading to see some of my ideas on how to spice up your Instagram game!

1) Change locations

This may be obvious, but really how many pictures do you have in front of that brick wall? I'm sure the brick wall is great. We all have "the wall", but try to use it once every 3-4 pictures. People are drawn to diverse pictures!

2) Add filler photos.

This may not be your thing, and that's okay! Always create what YOU want to. If you are a creator that is passionate about a feed aesthetic, then yes, fillers are a must. What I mean by fillers is a picture of flowers, your coffee, or any other picture that isn't you posing your newest outfit. The fillers are what truly make the aesthetic in the feed if that is what you are marketing.

3) MAKE INTERESTING CAPTIONS

I will live by this statement. How do I get an engagement rate that is double the average?CAPTIONS & ENGAGEMENT. Don't just post the picture with a 3 word quote and then leave. Ask you audience a question, make a joke, or play a game with them. Ideas are 2 truths and a lie, ask about THEIR lives, or even doing a tiny giveaway like giving a $5 Starbucks gift card to whoever guesses whats in your cup.

4) Diversify poses.

Again, this goes with the whole feed thing too. Instead of the usual full body pose, try just a body shot of the outfit or a shoes shot. These also are really easy too if you don't feel like actually looking nice. You could be wearing absolutely anything on top (aka those quarantine pajamas) but show off your nice shoes.

5) Stories!

Technically not feed related, but still needs an honorable mention. Stories boost engagement so much. I feel like stories are the window to your world. Your audience gets to actually know the real you which in return will boost engagement for both parties. Ideas are posting to-do lists, your healthy breakfasts, coffee orders, get on video and talk about a funny story, and literally anything that is showing your face!

I hope these tips and tricks help you whether you are a small influencer just trying to get on top of the Instagram algorithm or want to amp up your personal account. Always remember that being yourself and showing the personality that God uniquely gave you will always be the best! Stay true to yourself and your audience will be drawn to you.

With love,

Danielle
